IØ’s objective is to boost economic cooperation between Denmark and the reformist Central and Eastern European countries for the benefit of both the overall East/West relationship as well as Danish business and employment. We work towards this objective by participating in the investments by Danish companies in such countries through

• share capital
• providing loans and guarantees on current market terms
• providing advisory services

Where do we invest?
Since 2006 IØ's investment activities have been limited to projects in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus.

Income
IØ's income consists mainly of interest on loans, share dividends and proceeds from the sale of shares.

Advisory services
In addition to funding, Danish companies working together with IØ have access to the know-how IØ have accumulated from its more than 400 projects in 18 countries since 1989. Also, through the Funds, Danish businesses can draw on a broad global network of advisers and financial institutions.
