The Funds have entered into collaboration with the University of Copenhagen and the National Museum to develop and offer courses within culture, language, society, business conditions and religion to companies, public institutions and NGOs, which plan, or already have activities in non-Western countries, in order to improve the employees’ possibilities and capabilities of adapting to a foreign environment and to avoid cultural misunderstandings.
The main activity in the collaboration between the three institutions is offering tailor-made cultural courses including courses on business conditions in Eastern European countries and developing countries for businesses which are about to establish themselves in such countries. Moreover courses on Denmark and Danish culture will be on offer for companies which are to receive employees or business partners from abroad, together with courses on culture meetings for companies with a staff of mixed cultures.
